Charley Brown Children’s Center (CBCC) is much more than a child care facility. Located at 5921 Jackson Dr, La Mesa, CA 91942, CBCC has been providing high quality, enrichment preschool programs for San Diego children. In 1972, Reverend Charles Brown from United Church of Christ, La Mesa, had a vision to create a much needed service for everyone in the community regardless of religion. The childcare center was built by volunteers from the church and was designed to provide childcare that is safe, reliable, and at an affordable price. We provide a full day (6 A.M. to 6 P.M. – M – F) as well as half days (5 hours or less in the A.M.), year round, early childhood enrichment program.
