Family childcare provides children the comfort and experience of belonging to an extended family. Therefore, I provide a home like setting that follows a structured but flexible schedule that has monthly themes and uses the “whole child approach”. The whole child approach ensures that each child is healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged, while also setting the standards for long term growth and success. My main goal is prepping and preparing children for Kindergarten and beyond, so I would like to be considered a caregiver or teacher, rather than just a “babysitter”.
